Answer:
II) :- 1- Digestion is the breakdown of large insoluble food molecules into small water-soluble food molecules so that they can be absorbed into the watery blood plasma.
- Bile juice produced from liver.
- Cellulose.
- • Similarity: The digestive juices in amoeba are secreted into food vacuole and in human beings, the digestive juices are secreted in the stomach and small intestine. •Difference: Amoeba captures the food with the help of pseudopodia and engulfs it. In human beings food is taken by the mouth.
- Absorption refers to the movement of nutrients, water and electrolytes from the lumen of the small intestine into the cell, then into the blood.
- Glucose is a simple sugar. It easily breaks down in the cell with the help of oxygen and provides instant energy to the organism. Glucose does not need digestion, it is directly absorbed into the blood. Hence, when glucose is directly taken, it does not get digested and acts as an instant source of energy.
- The digestive functions of saliva include moistening food, and helping to create a food bolus, so it can be swallowed easily. Saliva contains the enzyme amylase that breaks some starches down into maltose and dextrin. Thus, digestion of food occurs within the mouth, even before food reaches the stomach.
- Parasites are those organism who is depend upon dead decaying matter.
- Buccal cavity, oesophagus, salivary gland, stomach, pancreas, illeum, large intestine, anus etc.
- Cullose is a component which only digested in ruminants.
