Circumference = 44 cm
Circumference = 2 * 22/7 * radius
44 = 2 * 22/7 * r
44 = 44/7 * r
(44*7)/44 = r
7 = r. ( because 44 will cancel each other )

Therefore, the radius of the circle is 7 cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

radius(r)= (?) (to be calculated)

circumference= 2πr

=> 44=2πr

=> 44/2=πr

=> 22=πr

=> 22=22/7 x r

=> 22 x 7/22=r

=> 7=r

=> r=7 cm

hope it helps...
