1) Because the daughter cells do not fall off during reproduction and so a long continuous chain is formed called Psuedohyphae.

2)Insect pollinated flowers are brightly coloured and sweet smelling to attract insects to itself. Spores are covered by a hard covering to provide protection from harsh conditions. some pollens reach the stigma, a large number of pollen grains are produced.

3)Pollen grains of wind-pollinated flowers are produced in large quantities to make sure that at least some pollen grains reach the stigmas of other flowers and successful pollination takes place as many pollen grains are wasted. These pollen grains are light and hence are easily transferred to other flowers.

4)Each spore is covered by a hard protective thick wall to enable them survive under unfavourable conditions like lack of moisture, lack of nutrients and extreme temperature. Under favourable conditions, a spore germinates and develops into a new individual.
