Hence,(i) ar(PQRS)=ar(ABRS)
Because,
∆AXS and llgm ABRS lie on the same base AS and b/w same parallel lines AS and BR because ABRS is a llgm,
Hence, ar(AXS)= 1/2* ar(ABRS)
Because,ar(PQRS)=ar(ABRS)
Therefore,ii) ar(AXS) =1/2* ar(PQRS)
