Answer:

Crop competition is a very useful method of weed control. Maintaining production practices that optimize crop growth means the crop plants can compete more effectively with weeds. Several crop management practices can improve the competitive ability of the crop. These practices include crop and variety selection, planting date, population, soil fertility, drainage, etc. Recommended crop production practices are also beneficial weed control practices.

Explanation:

Rice is a useful product that we gain by cultivation. It is useful. That's why it is a useful crop. It can't be a weed. Whereas, congress grass is a weed and it is not useful at all for anything. So, it can't be a crop.

And also what is the use of growing a useless weed?

The pollen grains, airborne dried plant parts, and roots of congress grass cause various allergies like contact dermatitis, hay fever, asthma, and bronchitis in human beings. The common allergens found in this weed are parthenin, coronopilin, tetraneuris, and ambrosin.

So, it is also very hamful and dangerous.
