Yes, obsessively examiner will cut your total marks. This is due to the not valid answer for the given question.
Therefore the student need to ensure question twice to write the exam so that you never loss the marks.
This gives hand for the student to never repeat these wrong things again. So it give and to update their skill and ideas about them.
