I had my earphone mic trrs 3.5 mm which was working on desktop but now i have plugged in 3.5 mm trrs mic it is not working in desktop.I checked unmuteing it and changing volume levels.
But it is working on mobile.What to do? How to fix it.I am using it on ubuntu desktop.No spammers.​

I suggest you to buy a different mic and earphone for the desktop and use that mic and earphone for other electronic equipment such as mobile phone.
