i have 1000 rupees in rupees 10 and 5 rupees currency notes. if the number of ten rupees currency notes that i have is ten more than the number of 5 rupee currency notes, how many currency notes of each denominator do i have

Let the no. of 5 rupee notes be x

then, no . of 10 rupee notes will be x + 10

A/Q, 10 (x+ 10) + 5x = 1000

10x +100 + 5x = 1000

15x = 1000 - 100

15x = 900

so, x = 900/15

x = 60

so, the no. of 5 rupee notes is 60 and the no. of 10 rupee note is 60 +10 = 70
