Answer: a=5 b=1 c=3

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Rearrange a+b=6 to get b=6-a

2. Substitute this into b + o =4

3. Use simultaneous equations to solve

a+o=8

6-a+o=4

——————-

2a=10

a=5

late total number of orange 0total number of apple a total number of Banana be b

according to question

a + b = 6---(1

a + o = 8---(2

b + o = 4--(3

on substracting --(2 and ,--(1

b - o = -2 ----(4

on adding ---3 and ---(4

2b = 2

b = 1

so

o = 3

a = 5
