I have a doubt in organic chemistry that in the pic(1) the longest chain can be taken as in pic (2) or as pic (3)? if the longest is taken as pic (3 ) what is the reason ? what is the reason for it ? please explain me in detailed manner

Longest chain is pic(3) because you need to take double bond or triple bond along with longest carbon chain. Since in pic(2) only 3 carbon chain is taken it is wrong,you need to take the 4 carbon chain with triple or double bonds.
