i have a doubt that plants can absorb the carbon dioxide which is released by human body. then why is this written that pants absorb oxygen ?? They release the oxygen then how can they absorb it​

during photosynthesis plants take CO2 and release 02 but during other time plant also needs energy so the catabolism (respiration ) takes place which require oxygen for that process to take place.

so that's the reason for plant to take oxygen

At night when plants do not carry out photosynthesis, they fulfill their energy requirements by utilizing their own prepared glucose. To oxidize the glucose they use oxygen from their surrounding, but at day time only carbon dioxide absorption occour .
