I have a doubt that we generally arrange the power of dividend in polynomial in descending order but why in this example it's not arranged that way? Please explain clearly.

Answer:

we have to remove the first term of any equation

so - 2a²b comes before - b³ that's why we have to solve the first term before the preceding term

you can solve that problem as we usually do i.e the power in descending order

here's the solution in the way you have doubt

hope it could help you
