Yes., you can search names of people (or user names) in Brainly.
But you can not directly search it in Brainly application, you will have to search it in Brainly's website (brainly.com) in any browser.
Steps;
Visit a browser, > type "brainly.com" in the search box > sign in our sign up if you are new > go to your profile (on the right corner top of your screen) > go to friends >search any user name there but make sure that the user name is valid and you must have artleast one friend from before.
