Here is your answer! ! !
x + 3y = 1
x = -3y + 1 now put in -3x - 3y = 15
-3 ( -3y +1 ) -3y = 15
9y -3 -3y = 15
6y = 18
● y = 3
now put y = 3 in x + 3y = 1
× + 3 (3) = 1
x + 9 = 1
● x = -8
I hope its helpfull for you.
