Given:

Total money = Rs. 700

There are equal number of 25 paise coins, 50 paise coins and one rupee coins.

Find:

Number of coins.

Solution:

Let the number of 25 paise coins, 50 paise coins and one rupee coins be x.

∴ Total money = 25x paise + 50x paise + Rs. 1x

Rs. 700 = Rs. (25x/100 + 50x/100 + x)    [Coverting paise into rupees]

700 = 0.25x + 0.5x + x

700 = 1.75x

x = 700/1.75

x = 400

Number of 25 paise coins, 50 paise coins and one rupee coins = x = 400.

Number of each coin = 400

Answer:

There are 400 coins of each type of money.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find out the each coin number need to put the values in the formula:

Sum of each coin=total money

Given: In the bag total money is 700 which contains the coins of 25 paise, 50 paise and 1 rupees.

Find: Need to find the total number of the each coin

Calculation:

700 rupees =70000 paise

Let the number of the coins are x

So, put the values in the formula:

25x+50x+100x=70000\\175x=70000\\x=\frac{70000}{175}\\ x=400

The total number of the each coins are 400.So for 25 paise

25x=25X400\\=10000 paise\\=100 rup

So for 50 paise

25x=50X400\\=20000 paise\\=200 rup

So for 1 rup

1x=1X400\\=400 rup

The total is

100+200+400=700 rup
