1. Shibhi was a great king.

2. The dove fell at the feet of Shibhi.

3. The hawk asked Shibhi for giving his own flesh equal in weight to the weight of the dove.

4. The king offered his whole body to the hawk because Shibhi was very kind, helpful and generous. He gave his own flesh to the hawk in order to save the dove.

5. After Shibhi gave his whole body to the hawk the gods Indra and Agni appeared and gave Shibhi his whole body back and then they disappeared.
