Length of the rectangular yard: 16 ft
Breadth of the rectangular yard: 14 ft
Area of rectangle=Length*Breadth=16*14=224 sq ft

Diameter of the circular fountain=4 ft
Radius of the circular fountain=Diameter/2=4/2=2 ft
Area of circle=(3.14*2)^2=6.28*6.28=39.4384 sq ft

Area of the grass portion=(Area of the rectangular yard-Area of the circular fountain)=224-39.4384=184.5616 sq ft.
