1)AURANGZEB'S POLICIES:- EARLIER THE MUGHALS HAD MANY ALLIES IN INDIA AND EVEN THE RAJPUTS WERE THEIR ALLIES BUT WHEN AURANGZEB CAME TO THE THRONE HE FORCED THEM TO CONVERT TO ISLAM DUE TO WHICH RAJPUTS REBELLED AGAINST AURANGZEB AND EVEN THE JATS,SIKHS HAD REBELLED AGAINST AURANGZEB.
2)WEAK SUCCESSORS OF AURANGZEB:-THE SUCCESSORS OF AURANGZEB WERE WEAK AND UNABLE TO HANDLE THIS LARGE EMPIRE.THEY WERE PLEASURE LOVING,DRAINED ALL THE TREASURY FOR THE WARS OF SUCCESSION AND AT END FOUND THEMSELVES BANKRUPT AND THE EMPIRE BROKE INTO SEVERAL REGIONS AND THE KINGS TO THAT REGIONS JUST CAME ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS TO MAKE GESTURES TO THE EMPEROR.
