The answer is option(C) - 5

After putting a minimum of 3 chocolates in each box,I am left with 15 chocolates.

So,I take 3 chocolates at a time from the extras and put them in the box till I am left with none. Then I find that there are 5 such boxes which have 6 chocolates (previous 3 + current 3).
