I have a total of rs 1000 with domination of rs 50 amd rs 100 notes find tge number of notes in each domination if the total number of notes are 15

Let The Number Of rs 50 notes be 'x'
And Let The Number Of Rs 100 notes be 'y'
So The Value Of Rs 50 and Rs 100 notes are 50x and 100y respectively

Value of total no.of notes = 1000
so,
50x + 100y = 1000
50(x + 2y) = 1000
x + 2y = 1000/50
x + 2y = 20-----------1

Total no.of notes = 15
Therefore ,
x + y = 15--------------2
x = 15 - y

Substituting the value of x in equation 1
x + 2y = 20
15 - y + 2y = 20
15 + y = 20
y = 20 - 15
y = 5

Substituting the value of y in equation 2
x + y = 15
x + 5 = 15
x = 10
 
Therefore,
There are no. of Rs 50 notes = 10 and no.of Rs 100 notes = 5

Check
10 notes of Rs 50 = 500 and 5 notes of Rs 100 = 500
500 + 500 = 1000
