Answer:

Therefore the number of rs.5 coins =z=7

the number of rs.2 coins=3z=3*7=21

the number of rs.5 coins=260-4z=260-4(7)=260-28=232

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of rs.5 coins be z

Money in rs.5 denomination=5z

So the number of rs.2 coins=3z

Money in rs.2 denomination=2(3z)=6z

The total number of coins=260

The number of rs.1 coin=260-(3z+z)=260-4z

Money in rs.1 denomination=260-4z

Total money=309

5z+6z+260-4z=309

7z+260=309

7z=309-260

7z=49

z=7

Therefore the number of rs.5 coins =z=7

the number of rs.2 coins=3z=3*7=21

the number of rs.5 coins=260-4z=260-4(7)=260-28=232
