Physics, asked by noob4986, 1 month ago

I have a very big question. before asking the question I want you to know that I have a torch. I will comment a link to see the image of the torch so that you could understant it. so the question is, when I keep the torch vertical and shine the broad part of the torch to a thin horizontal wire, the shadow of wire wont be seen (or some times the shadow will be blur). but when I keep the torch horizontal, just like the wire and shine the broad part of the torch to the wire, the shadow of the wire will become visible. and vise-versa. I don't know why that happens, I have been thinking about it for months, then I thought that I could ask it here.
