There is this option available in some devices whereas in some it is not available. First we need to check if it is available, so:

• First switch on your mobile phone and give five attempts of pin onto your device.

• If you are lucky enough you will get a forgot password option which is related to your google account and enter the username and password and your device shall be opened.

If this method does not work you will have to format or reset your device, the data will be erased, however you can recover your data with the help of some tools. The steps to be followed are:

• Press the volume up, volume down, and switch on/off button all at one time and if you have a home button too like a samsung device, press the home button too.

• Your mobile will enter the reset mode, now you have to use the volume up button for moving up, volume down for moving down and then on/off for selecting an option.

• Now go to the reset option and select it and then your device will be formatted and it will restarted, now your device will look like a new device
