I have another question for guys..

A trolley having mass 1kg and traveling at 6m/s strikes and stick another trolley having 10kg.
If the later trolling was initially at rest.

use conservation of momentum

m1u1+m2u2=m1v1+m2v2

1*6+10*0=(1+10)v

6/11=v(common velocity)

hmanface: V= 0.545m/s^-1
rakesh58450: 6/11 is 0.545
hmanface: I have another question
rakesh58450: ya ask
hmanface: An object of mass 3kg rest on a plane. The coefficient of static friction and that of kinetic friction are given by μs = 0.3 and μk = 0.2. The plane inclined at an angle θ at the horizontal.

(a) Find the maximum value of the θ for which the object remains at rest.

(b) find the acceleration of the object of it started sliding from rest down the plane at the angle θ maximum to horizontal.

(c) how long does it take the object to move from rest, a distance of 1 m under the condition of B
rakesh58450: first is tan theta
rakesh58450: acceleration is (g sin theta-u g cos theta)
rakesh58450: now u have acceleration and initial velocity 0. so u cm solve the last part now
