I HAVE ASKED 2 QUESTION FOR 20 POINTS ( EACH FOR 10 POINTS )
PLEASE ANSWE IT AND I WILL RATE U 5 STSR FOR ANSWERING IN 10 MIN, 4 STARS FOR ANSWEING 1N 15 MIN , 3 STARS FOR ANSWEING IN 20 MIN AND 2 STARS FOR ANSWEING. IF U WILL NOT ANSWER AND WRITE NONSENSE THEN I WILL GIVE U NOTHING .
SO MY QUESTIONS ARE
1. TWO PERSONS START MOVING FROM TWO POINTS A AND B IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION TOWARDS EACH OTHER. ONE PERSON START MOVING FROM A AT THE SPEED OF 4KM / H AND MEETS THE OTHER PERSON COMING FROM B AFTER 6 HOURS. IF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN A AND B IS 42 KM FIND THE SPEED OF THE OTHER PERSON
2. THERE ARE SOME BENCHES IN A CLASSROOM . IF 4 STUDENTS SIT ON EACH BENCH THEN 3 BENCHES REMAIN EMPTY AND IF 3 STUDENT SIT ON EACH BENCH THEN 3 STUDENTS REMAIN STANDING . FIND THE NO. OF STUDENTS IN THE CLASS.
I AM ONLINE IF U HAVE TO ASK ANYTHING ABOUT QUESTION U CAN ASK
THANX FOR SOLVING IT

♡why did you write so much....
★Let the number of students = y
let the number of benches = x
from the first statement
y=4x−12 (three empty benches * 4 students)
from the second statement
y=3x+3
Substituting equation 2 into equation 1
3x+3=4x−12
rearranging
x=15
Substituting the value for x in equation 2
y=3⋅15+3=48
hence,your answer is 48

(1)
The distance between A and B = 42km/hr.
They are traveling in the opposite direction.
Given that one person starts moving from A at 4km/hr and meets other person coming from B after 6 hours
Distance covered by the 1st person in 6 hours = 4 * 6
= 24 kms.
Distance traveled by the 2nd person = Distance between A and B - Distance traveled by A
= 42 - 24
= 18km.
Now,
The speed of the other person = Distance/Time
= 18/6
= 3 km/hr.
Therefore the speed of the other person = 3km/hr.
(2)
Let the number of benches in the class = x.
Given that 4 students sit on each bench then 3 benches remain empty = 4(x - 3). ------ (1)
Given that if 3 students sit on each bench then 3 students remain standing.
= 3x + 3. ------ (2)
Now,
on solving (1) & (2), we get
4(x - 3) = 3x + 3
4x - 12 = 3x + 3
4x = 3x + 3 + 12
4x = 3x + 15
4x - 3x = 15
x = 15
Therefore there are 15 benches.
Substitute x = 15 in above equations, we get the result as :
4(x - 3)
4(15 - 3)
4 * 12
48.
Therefore the total number of students in the class = 48.
Hope this helps!
