Question

  I have borrowed rs 1000 from "a" and lost that 1000. So I borrowed 500 from "b". and I ate biriyani for 300 rupees.i paid 100 rupees each from balance 200 rupees.So I have to give 900 for "a" and 400 for "b". adding 900 and 400 and cost of biriyani I get 1600. from were the 100 rupees extra came from?

why should we count the balance remain with us. we should only count the borrowed money which is 1000+500=1500
