Terminating decimal expansion means that the expansion stops after a few decimal places

Eg: 35.61352

In Non terminating repeating decimal expansions, the number does not end and the digits keep repeating thenselves

Eg: 53.10910910.....

Hope u understood

Terminating decimal is a one which gets completely divided by its denominator. For example:

(i) 2/5= 0.4

(ii) 8/5=1.6

Non-terminating decimal is never completely divided by its denominator. It is either recurring decimal or non-recurring decimal. For example:

(i) 2/3=0.666.... (recurring non-terminating)

(ii)8/11=0.727272... (recurring non-terminating)

(iii) 22/7=3.1415926535... (non-recurring non-terminating)

Hope this helps...please mark as Brainliest
