I have confusion where to use equal(=) and implies (=>) in maths

Equal to (=) sign is used in equations for eg.

5a = 100

Implies sign (=>) is used to start a new equation for eg.

5a = 100
=> a = 100/5
=> a = 20

WE NORMALLY USE BOTH IN MATH ACCORDING TO QUESTION.... HERE'S THE EXAMPLE...

P(X)=ax+1=0

=}ax+1=0
