John Hallock earned his living by writing ghost stories and selling them to Jenkins. But as usual this time also he had no plot for the story. Suddenly he was marked by the presence of a friendly ghost Helen. She told him that she used to lean down to his shoulders and also that she was the one who supplied him with the themes of the story. Moreover she warned him not to use the ouija board. Ironically, John's wife Lavinia bought it the very moment for his help. She even threw a ouija board party. Despite his many attempts in order to prevent his wife's meeting with the ghost, he failed to do so. And after Lavinia met Helen of Troy and everything was sorted out John Hallock got the bulliest plot for his new best seller.
