I have grown up in an indian family and have taught to respect our culture and respect girls. Every person follows the trend that he/she has observing from his/her childhood. Now, talking about Indian cultural wedding which is patriarchal form of wedding. Now the question raises can a person follows his/her cultural being a feminist? Sindoor, mangalsutra, bangles are called signs of marriage in India but are they signs of patriarchy?? It's difficult to follow our culture at this situation?

if to say of our pure culture , our culture didn't have anything bad or anti feminist a little was there but today we have come to the point where any open minded thing weather being feminist or a part of LGBTQ+ community has become a taboo and that has been made by some recent generations , and if one feels like the put on things like sindoor etc then one should go for and if one does not then one should not do that

so simply the thing is wear them in any cultural event otherwise not needed and now a days no one in daily life wear these stuffs
