I have heard that the simple define of FRACTION is - Dividing into equal parts.
Is it correct.please help me​

look, fraction means dividing .You can divide into as many parts you want. Take an example:-
●you wish to divide a chocolate among 5 of your friends. but u also decide to have a chunk. So, you divide it into 6 parts and have one sixth of the chocolate with you. You divided EQUALLY..
