Deforestation, and illegal hunting & urban development is leading to endangered animal life/extinction. Is it important to protect animal life & why?
Nowadays, many countries face challenges related to the extinction of animals, due to human activities, deforestation, urban development and illegal hunting. Animals become threatened and need protection, and the environment is affected by the indifferent use of humans, thus will negatively affect the lives of animals.
The first problem on the large scale is the urban development which consists of expanding construction of buildings and industrial factories ... The number of people is increasing, the lifestyle is demanding, and therefore more spaces are needed. The issue here is that factories may produce huge amounts of gas, such as carbon dioxide, which may affect the environment badly, and on the other hand, animals will die once the gas is inhaled.
The second problem is deforestation, many countries are rich in big forests, which include a lot of animal habitats, however, people are careless, cutting trees, selling wood for financial and trading purposes, this issue leads the animals to leave the forest and look for another peaceful location, but unfortunately, most of them died due to the climate changes.
In addition to the above, Illegal hunting is an additional cause, this may lead to the extinction of animals, especially if hunters shot an animal considered an extinct one. For example, if Panda is one of the extinct animals and should not be hunted.
In my opinion, the government should give more efforts to improve the law to reduce these causes, and create restricted conditions for not allowing human to destroy forests, kill animals and push them to leave their habitats. Animals need to live in peace in their own spaces. Wildlife animal habitat should be protected and must have special places to find food, shelter and raise their young. Oil, drilling, and development may result in habitat destruction.
As a conclusion, government and human should more be respectful to life conditions, to have more responsibilities in taking care and save animals life all around the world.
