I have learnt two equations to represent the overall reaction of PHOTOSYNTHESIS. Which one should I write in my Class 10 Boards?

1.» 6· C O2 + 6· H2 O ___hv, chl___ >
C6 H12 O6 + 6· O2

2.» 6· C O2 + 12· H2 O ___hv, chl___ >
C6 H12 O6 + 6· O2

Please provide a reason for the preference.

P.S. For those who don't know, (hv) represents sunlight {Its not actually 'v', its a greek letter nyu}, and (chl) represents Chlorophyll pigment.
