Sum of supplementary angles= 180 degree

Let the smaller angle be x.

Now,

x+x+36= 180

2x=180-36=144

x=72

Thus angles are 72 and 108.

Let the measure of one angle be x° then the other angle will be (36+x)°. Sum of supplementary angles is 180°.
So, x + (36+x) = 180
x + 36 + x = 180
2x + 36 = 180
x = (180-36)/2
= 144/2
= 72
Hence two supplementary angles are 72° and (72+36)° i.e. 108°.
