Answer:

The number of one rupee coins are 105 .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

I have one rupees coins, fifty paise coins and twenty five paise coins.

The number of coins are in the ratio 2.5 : 3 : 4. if total amount with me is rs 210 .

Let us assume that the x be tha scalar multiple of the  one rupees coins, fifty paise coins and twenty five paise coins.

Number of one rupee coins = 2.5x

Number of fifty paise coins = 3x

Number of twenty five paise coins = 4x

As

1 paise = 0.01 rupee

Now convert 50 paise in rupee .

50 paise = 50 × 0.01 rupee

               = 0.5 rupee

Now convert 25 paise in rupee .

25 paise = 25 × 0.01 rupee

               = 0.25 rupee

Equation becomes

2.5x + 0.5 × 3x + 0.25 × 4x = 210

2.5x + 1.5x + 1x = 210

5x = 210

x = \frac{210}{5}

x = 42

Thus

Number of one rupee coins = 2.5x

                                              = 2.5 × 42

                                              = 105

Therefore the number of one rupee coins are 105 .
