I have only one type of atom.i have fixed melting point. Who am i ?

I am an Element.

Elements are those pure substances which can neither be decomposed nor be built from those of the components and have the fixed melting and boiling point.

Properties of the Elements cannot be changed by the known physical or chemical methods.

Elements are made from the same kind of the atoms. Compounds are also the substances which are made from the atoms of the different elements. Hence, Compounds cannot be the correct answer.
