To find there answers we need same denominators.

\huge\sf\purple {Here\:we\:go⤵}

1. Arrange 5/4, 3/5 and 11/8 in order, beginning with the smallest.

 \frac{5}{4}  =  \frac{5 \times 10}{4 \times 40} =  \frac{50}{40}

 \frac{3}{5} =  \frac{3 \times 8}{5 \times 8} =  \frac{24}{40}

 \frac{11}{8}  =  \frac{11 \times 5}{8 \times 5}  =  \frac{55}{40}

So the ascending order will be  \frac{24}{40}  =  \frac{3}{5} ,\frac{50}{40} =  \frac{5}{4}, \frac{55}{40}  =  \frac{11}{8}

=  \frac{3}{5} ,\frac{5}{4} ,\frac{11}{8}

2. Which is greater, 9/2 or 3 4/5?

 \frac{9}{2}  =  \frac{9 \times 5}{2 \times 5}  =  \frac{45}{10}

3 \frac{4}{5}  =  \frac{19}{5}  =  \frac{19 \times 2}{5 \times 2}  =  \frac{38}{10}

 \frac{45}{10} =  \frac{9}{2}  >  \frac{38}{10}  = 3 \frac{4}{5}

 =  \frac{9}{2}  > 3 \frac{4}{5}

3. Arrange 2/5, 1 7/9 and 3/2 in increasing order?

 \frac{2}{5} =  \frac{2 \times 18}{5 \times 18} =  \frac{36}{90}

 \frac{17}{9} =  \frac{17 \times 10}{9 \times 10}  =  \frac{170}{90}

 \frac{3}{2} =  \frac{3 \times 45}{2 \times 45} =  \frac{135}{90}

 =  \frac{36}{90},\frac{135}{90} , \frac{170}{90}

= \frac {2}{5}, \frac {3}{2}, \frac {17}{9}
