We don not inhale pure oxygen or only oxygen..
We also take in other gases with it which are further released from our body with carbon dioxide.

we breathe not all gases in atmosphere but only Oxygen and Carbon dioxide easily diffuse in our Alevolis
it doesn't easily diffuse in our lungs... but some of the gases such as co does not come out of lung but it stays and destroy the alveoli of lungs
yes bcz no other can form any c combination with haemoglobin just Oxygen and Carbon dioxide can form oxyhaemoglobin and I think so ka Carbo haemoglobin and just and carbon dioxide can easily combine with oxygen show a limited amount of carbon dioxide is present in a release alevolis
