I have Rs 1000 in Rs 10 and Rs 5 notes.If the number of ten Rs note that I have is ten more than the number of 5 Rs notes, how many notes do I have in each denomination ?

Let, the no. of ₹5 note is x

( ₹10 × x + 10 ) + ( ₹5 × x ) = ₹1000

⇒ ₹10x + ₹100 + ₹5x = ₹1000

⇒ ₹10x + ₹5x = ₹1000 - ₹100

⇒ ₹15x = ₹900

⇒ x = ₹900/₹15

⇒ x = 60

No. of ₹5 notes = x

→ No. of ₹5 notes = 60

No. of ₹10 notes = x + 10

→ No. of ₹10 notes = 60 + 10

→ No. of ₹10 notes = 70
