Well, this is not a complete proof ! it's almost correct

But here, first you'll have to show that triangle ABD and triangle ADC are congruent by SAS congruence test.

Since they have one common side, one pair of each angle same since AD bisects the angle A and also that AB = AC.

Turns out the equal pair of angles are also the included angles in the equal pairs of corresponding sides and hence now it is confirmed that both triangles at equal and also we can say that BD = CD by congruent parts of congruent triangles property.
