I have some strange dice: the faces show the numbers 1 to 6 as usual, except that the odd numbers are negative (I.e. -1, -3, -5 in place of 1, 3, 5). If I throw two such dice, which of the following totals cannot be achieved? A) 3 B) 7 C) 8

6

Answer:

B)7

Step-by-step explanation:

Over here,

We have faces as -1,2,-3,4,-5,6

Generally we obtain 7 as

1+6

2+5

3+4

4+3

5+2

6+1

Each of the pair consist odd number (1,3,5) which are negative for one of the dice i.e (-1,-3,-5) and thus it is impossible to get the sum of 7.

Hope this helps you buddy, if you think it's helpful to you surely mark it as brainliest {^_^}
