Math, asked by flossefish, 6 hours ago

I have three cards, identical in size and shape, and bearing no distinguishing marks other than plain colours on their faces. One card is green on both faces, one is red on both faces, and one is red on one face and green on the other.

I show all the cards to you, so that you can observe the distribution of colors. I then put the cards behind my back and select one at random (with an equal probability of choosing any card) and show you only one face of that card. You observe that it is green. What is the probability that the reverse face is also green?

Pls explain to get 50 points and write the answer in a good manner so that I can understand

Answer :

Step by step explanation:

= Three cards in identical, size and shape

= Bearing no distinguishing marks other than plain colours on their faces

= 1 card is green and other both faces red

= 1 red face and others green faces

Observe the distribution of cards in colours

= Cards behind my back, select one random card

= Equal Probability of cards is (Red Cards)2/3,(Green cards)2/3

= Probability of reserve face is also green

=2/3 2/3

= 1
