thus the answer should be, because angle ABC and angle XBC are corresponding angles and thus are equal

B. since XB= XC (given in question)

therefore, angle XBC = angle XCB = 55 degrees( since angle opp. to equal sides are equal)- equation 1

In triangle XBC, by using angle sum property

angle XBC+ angle XCB+ angle BXC= 180 degrees

By equation 1

angle BXC= 180-(55+55)degrees

therefore, angle BXC= 180- 110 degrees

Thus, angle BXC= 70 degrees
