1. Chemical reaction is a process in which one or more substances, the reactants, are converted to one or more different substances, the products.
2. No new substances are formed in physical changes. Physical changes are generally reversible. Eg- melting of ice into water, Dissolving sugar and water etc.
New substances are formed in chemical changes. Chemical changes are generally irreversible. Eg- burning of paper, cooking of food etc.
3. signs that a chemical change has occurred are :-
