I have to narrate a really long speech from, "The Merchant of Venice", by William Shakespeare (the book is an unabridged version). Any tips?
Answers
Deliver a performance, rather than a speech. A speech is primarily about the words that you speak, but a performance is so much more. ...
Use the power of eye contact. ...
Don't hide behind the lectern. ...
Posture matters. ...
Tell compelling stories. ...
Vary your cadence. ...
Speak about what you know and care about.
Need to go through the novel by heart . No need to learn . Just analyze throughout the novel and speak in front of the mirror 4 -5 times a day .
Remember each and every consiquences that happened in the story . Try to read not more than ten pages at a time and then take rest for sometime . Go through your heart and narrate in front of the mirror whatever you read . But , dont forget narrate from the beginning each time.
Hope it helps
