If your basics are not clear , then its pretty much better to start with ncert books
But if you have a strong base then their is no need dude!
Moreover it also depends on the carrier in which ya focusing on , of its any kind of banking exam or upse then for history, do go through all the books of sst of class 6th to 10th , will help you for sure!
