Answer:

Let the number of Rs 5 coins is x.

Therefore, number of Rs 2 coins = 3x

Let the number of Rs 1 coins is z

Total number of coins = 160

z + 3x + x = 160

Therefore, number of Rs 1 coins = 160 - 3x -x = 160 - 4x

Total amount = 300

(160-4x) + 2 X (3x) + 5 X x = 300

160 - 4x + 6x + 5x = 300

160 + 7x = 300

7x = 300-160 = 140

x = 140/7 = 20

Therefore,

number of Rs 1 coins = 160 - 4x = 160 - 4 X 20 = 160-80 = 80

number of Rs 2 coins = 3x = 3 X 20 = 60

number of Rs 5 coins = x = 20

Hope this helps you.

Answer:

Rs 5: 20 coins

Rs 2: 60 coins

Rs 1 : 80 coins

So, how did it happen? Please refer to below:-

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

5 coins = x

2 coins = 3x

1 coin = 160 - 3x+x

=160 - 4x (Total coins are 160.If we find out the total amount 5 and 2 currency,then we can easily find 1 currency.Dont write this!Just explanation)

So,

The amount of coins:-

Rs5 :- x X 5= 5x

Rs2 :- 3x X 2=6x

Rs1 :- (160-4x) x1=160-4x

A/q (According to the question)

5x + 6x + 160-4x=300

7x=300-160

7x=140

x=140/7

x=20

Now,

Using value of x:-

Rs5:- x = 20

Rs2:- 3x = 3x20=60

Rs1:- 160-(20+60)

160-80

=80
