Let the number of 10rs coins be x then the number of 2 rs will be 3x

The number of 1 rs coin is :

140 - 4x

The total value of the coins in terms of x is :

3x × 2 + x × 10 + 1(140 - 4x) = 6x +10x - 4x + 140

= 12x + 140

This equals to 500 rs

12x + 140 = 500

12x = 500 - 140

12x = 360

x = 30

10 rs coins = 30

2 rs coins = 30 × 3 = 90

1 rs coins = 140 - 120 = 20
