Answer:

Number of 1 rupee coins=80

Number of 2 rupees coins=60

Number of 5 rupees coins=20

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x, y and z be the number of coins in each category Rs.1,Rs.2 and Rs.5 respectively.

As per given data,

x+y+z=160..............(1)

x+2y+5z=300..........(2)

y=3z...............(3)

using (3) in (1) and (2) we get

x+4z=160..............(4)

x+11z=300..........(5)

(5)-(4) we get

7z = 140

z=20

put z = 20 in (3) we get

y=60

put z=20 in (4) we get

x+4(20)=160

x=160-80

x=80

Answer:

5 rs coin = 20

2 rs coins = 60

1 rs coins = 80

Step-by-step explanation:

I have total of rupees 300 in coins of domination rupees 1, rupees 2 and rupees 5.the number of rupees 2 coin is 3 times the number of rupees 5 coin.the total number of coins is 160. how many coins each domination are with me?

Let say Rs 5 coin  = x

then rs 2 coin = 3x

1 rs coin = 160 - x - 3x = 160 -4x

Total Value of coins

= 1 * (160 - 4x)  + 2 * 3x  + 5x

= 160 - 4x + 6x + 5x

= 7x + 160

7x + 160 = 300

=> 7x = 140

=> x = 20

5 rs coin = 20

2 rs coins = 60

1 rs coins = 80
