I have two books rd sharma and rl arrora there is two different formula given for area of minor segment one is r2(θπ/180 - sinθ)/2 and r2(θπ/180 - sinθcosθ) /2 wch one sould i use and i donot want o find area of sector and segment thats why i want to know that and will you please upload some extra question of ts lesson

Alright coming to your question.
Both the formulas are absolutely right however both of these work under special conditions.
If you take the formula
r² ( П ∅/ 180 - sin ∅)/2 works when the angle at the centre that is ∅ has the value less than or equal to 90°.
And if you take the other formula
r²(П∅ / 180° - sin∅cos∅)/2
works when the angle at the centre is more than 90° and less than or equal to 180°.
